Facebook seeks a highly motivated, team player to serve as its Law Enforcement Lead based in Mumbai, India. This is a great opportunity to join a growing security team and to work on novel issues in an exciting, fast-paced environment. This position is a full time role located in Mumbai, India. Occasional night and weekend availability to monitor for exigent circumstances and the ability to travel frequently within India is required.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain effective working relationship with law enforcement and government authorities in Mumbai
Support legal and public policy teams’ engagement with law enforcement authorities, regulators and legislators on safety, security and law enforcement issues in India
Work with the Security Operations team to have world class capability in protecting and managing risk
Assist with risk and threat analysis for people and property.
Requirements
University degree or equivalent
At least 7+ years of experience in law enforcement and a similar safety and security role is preferred
Extensive experience working with Indian law enforcement authorities
Comfortable in a fast paced, ever-changing, start-up culture Fluency in languages other than English preferred
Willingness to work off hours and overtime, including the weekend and occasionally holidays, to support emergency matters and interact with company employees in other parts of the world
Ability to frequently travel within India and occasional travel within Asia and the United States
Excellent communications skills.
