experienced, hardworking and dedicated keeper to work with a small team of
enthusiastic and likeminded keepers on our hoof stock section to cover a period of
maternity leave. Our collection of hoof stock animals includes; buffalo, tapir, zebra,
various antelope and deer, bison, and wildebeest.

This is a very physical role and the successful applicant will be expected to undertake

public. You will also need a flexible approach to working hours and have a hands on
approach to the restraint and handling of animals.

You must have significant experience in animal keeping gained in a zoo park or
equivalent environment with experience working with hoofstock animals. A full valid
driving licence is essential and experience in driving tractors and Land Rovers off
road is also desirable. Although not essential for the role, a firearms licence would be
advantageous. Ideally you will have obtained an animal management qualification or
equivalent but if not you must be willing to work towards obtaining a relevant
qualification.

The role is 40 hours a week, 5 days out of seven, 8.00am to 5.00pm. Expected start
