General Motors Co. seeks Sr. Project Engineer/Battery Electrochemical (Warren, MI), to develop & operate Multiphysics models of Lithium-ion battery chemistry performance & degradation using COMSOL Multi-physics; conduct cell-level thermal analysis to predict transient thermal behavior of battery cell & estimate cell life; use cell & thermal models co-simulation to improve model accuracy; develop battery heat generation model & use it for battery pack thermal & CFD analysis; among other duties.
