POSITION SUMMARY: Supervises the Logistics Department. Directly responsible for the supervision and operation of all material control, workcenter shop stock, and supply functions. Provides technical assistance and guidance to site activities as necessary. Maintains close liaison with major supply activities and management staff. MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES: 1. Supervises the FOL site Logistics function. Directly responsible for the supervision and operation of all material control, workcenter shop stock, and supply functions of the contract. 2. Provides technical assistance and guidance to site activities as necessary. Maintains close liaison with major supply activities and management staff. Responsible for identifying, requisitioning, receiving, stocking, and disbursing equipment, supplies, tools, and materials in support of civil engineering and mission-related tasks and requirements. 3. Responsible for ordering and controlling materials approved for other support activities. In cases where materials are not available through commercial sources, responsibilities include coordinating action with management to purchase the required items through Government sources and supply systems. Prepares and maintains records, files, and reports. Responsible for maintaining and operating of the automated supply system. Responsible for preparing and editing all shop stock, bench stock, and warehouse stockage listings. 4. Maintains control and accountability of all Government-Furnished Property (GFP) assigned for performance of the contract requirements. Receives GFP and maintains supporting documents and record keeping files. Works closely with the Government Property Administrator. 5. Responsible for proper marking of all property assigned to work centers and subcontractors. Controls hand receipt procedures and property storage as well as movement of property between the work centers and subcontractors. 6. Ensures an accurate physical inventory of all GFP is conducted as required by the contract. Performs record reconciliation based on the physical count and submits inventory adjustments to Property Administrator. Responsible for transfer/disposition of all GFP items upon contract termination. Volt Workforce Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.



Requirements
Associates degree and/or equivalent experience. Experience: Five years experience in military/civil engineering supply, material control, and/or local purchase activities. One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required. Must be able to obtain a secret security clearance.

Pay Rate: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 Annual DOE
