Agriculture Legislative Assistant -- House Member Office

Congressman Steve King is seeking applications for the position of Agriculture Legislative Assistant in his Washington, DC office. Qualified candidates will be committed, pro-life conservatives with strong writing skills, a firm understanding of agriculture issues and policy, and substantive experience working in agriculture. The Agriculture Legislative Assistant will be responsible for assisting the congressman with all Agriculture Committee work, managing a larger portfolio of issues that will likely include energy and trade, writing constituent correspondence falling within these issues areas, and working with a significant number of outside groups on a regular basis. Iowa ties are a plus.
